COSA Resource Corp. is pleased to announce that it has completed its most recent exploration venture in the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan. The company has been granted two exploration permits from the Saskatchewan government to explore the Ursa Uranium Project.
Located in the south-eastern portion of the Athabasca Basin, the Ursa Uranium Project is an extension of the company’s existing Lynn Lake Project. It encompasses approximately 5,000 hectares of prospective land that has the potential to host numerous uranium deposits, a key commodity essential in powering the atomic force of the global energy industry.
The two permits that have been granted are a Licensed Ground geophysical survey permit and a Licensed Prospecting and Hand Mining permit. Using the newly granted permission, COSA plans to evaluate the determination of any surface anomalies and surface sampling to evaluate any potential of uranium deposits.
Uranium is a valuable mineral used in both the energy and defence industries, making it an incredibly important commodity in both local and international markets. As the world continues to demand more power, it is anticipated that demands of uranium will be greatly increased, making the location and exploitation of potential deposits that much more important.
COSA is hopeful that the newly acquired permits will pave the way to discovering significant and valuable deposits. With two teams of qualified security personnel and geologists, COSA is confident that it can make the most out of the Ursa Uranium Project and bring an exciting new discovery to the Athabasca Basin.
